A growing Cotgrave business has been able to grow and stay in the town thanks to a move to larger premises in Colliers Business Park, owned by Rushcliffe Borough Council.

The Gourmet Chocolate Pizza Company moved a few yards in January from its former base in nearby Manvers Business Park with the authority able to accommodate its growth and offer larger offices and warehouses.

Company founder Helen Ellis said: ‘We are delighted with the new unit and the fact that we could move the business a few yards away and remain in Rushcliffe.

“The facilities and space here are an improvement for us and have allowed us to increase our production capacities, which will undoubtedly help our business to grow further.

“The additional office and warehouse space now available has also allowed us to hire more staff to support our expansion.

“We are delighted with the support we have received from Rushcliffe Borough Council during our move and are very grateful to their teams for the help they have provided.”

The deputy head of the Council and holder of the portfolio for Business and Growth Cllr Andy Edyvean added: “It is heartening to see another Rushcliffe business growing in size and that we have been well placed to provide them with alternative premises to match their growth.

“Businesses like this are the heart of our economy and we are pleased if our support can spur more jobs and investment in the borough, especially as we continue to recover from the impact of the pandemic.”
