Florida teens charged with stealing pizza delivery man’s vehicle
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, two Florida teenagers were arrested after apparently stealing a pizza delivery driver’s vehicle on Sunday while the driver was delivering a pizza order.
MARION COUNTY, Florida. – According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, two Florida teenagers were arrested after apparently stealing a pizza delivery driver’s vehicle on Sunday while the driver was delivering a pizza order.
Police said in a Facebook post that the delivery driver was making a delivery in Gainesville when two people – a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old – apparently got in and took the vehicle.
A deputy then located the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop, police said. The deputy then performed a successful PIT maneuver as the driver attempted to drive on Interstate 75 northbound.
The two teenagers were arrested.

A teenager was taken into juvenile detention on suspicion of robbery, without a valid driver’s license and on the run from a law enforcement officer. The other was booked on suspicion of grand theft.
Two pizzas were found in the back of the vehicle, police said.
